It’s been just over 100 years since the first Black American Women recording artists were published. Kanika Moore sings some of the most influential tunes from Black American Women – one song per decade from the 1920s to the 2020s. This album is a celebration honoring just a few of the women who brought so much richness and spirit into the world’s culture over the last century.
